Romans 8: Called According to His Purpose

Continuing through the Golden Chain of Redemption in Romans 8, this sermon focuses on God’s calling of His people. The gospel goes out to all, but Scripture shows God working through the Holy Spirit to open hearts and bring sinners from spiritual death to faith in Christ. Through examples including Paul, Lydia, the Philippian jailer, and Pentecost, we see that God’s sovereign calling does not eliminate our responsibility to repent, believe, share the gospel, and pray for the lost.
