For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve...

Why You Should Volunteer at Celebration Church
Volunteering at Celebration Church is one of the best ways to live out your faith and make a difference in the lives of others. Every Sunday, our church family depends on people who serve with purpose. From greeting new visitors and brewing coffee in the morning, to teaching our children about Jesus, or running cameras, sound, and slides in the tech booth, every role helps create a warm and welcoming space where people can encounter God. Serving here isn’t just about filling a spot on a schedule. It’s about growing in your faith, building relationships, and being part of something bigger than yourself.

Serve in our church

Use your unique gifts to help build the Kingdom.

God has given each of us unique gifts and talents to serve His Church and advance His Kingdom. Scripture reminds us that “just as each one has received a gift, use it to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace” (1 Peter 4:10). Whether you greet guests, teach our children, brew coffee, or run sound and slides, your service helps the body of Christ work together as one (Romans 12:4–6). At Celebration Church, we believe every act of service is an act of worship and a way to show the love of Jesus to others. When we serve together, we build a stronger church and bring glory to God.

Volunteer FAQ

How do I volunteer?

Getting started is simple. Fill out our volunteer form or talk to one of our elders after church, Steve and Jennifer Wayne, Daniel and Stacy Wayne, Rob and Lisa Williamson, or Ken and Janet Walker. We’ll help you find the right place to serve and get connected. The Bible reminds us that “whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord” (Colossians 3:23). Serving is one of the best ways to grow your faith and bless others.

How do I volunteer with kids?

If you love helping children learn about Jesus, we’d be excited to have you serve in our Kids Ministry. Fill out the volunteer form or talk with one of our elders to get started. All volunteers working with children must complete a background check and follow our safety guidelines to ensure a secure and caring environment.
“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6).

How do I volunteer with music?

If you have a heart for worship and musical talent, we’d love for you to be part of our music team. Fill out the volunteer form or contact Rob Williamson, Jennifer Wayne, or Chris Wellman to learn more and get connected. The Bible reminds us, “Sing to the Lord a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy” (Psalm 33:3). When we use our gifts in music, we help lead others into the presence of God.

How do I volunteer with students?

Serving with our Students Ministry is a chance to help teens grow in their faith and discover who God created them to be. Fill out the volunteer form or talk with one of our elders to get started. All student ministry volunteers complete a background check and follow our safety guidelines to provide a safe and positive environment.
“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity” (1 Timothy 4:12).
