Our Story

How it all started...

Over twenty years ago, Pastor Steve and his wife Jennifer felt called to leave Parkersburg and plant a new church in Huntington. With nothing more than prayer, faith, and a small group of family and friends, Celebration Church held its first services in the Huntington Civic Center. As the church grew, God opened the door to move into the former Jefferson Elementary School building in the West End of Huntington at 610 19th Street West, where we continue to gather today.

Expanding the vision...

We envision a growing community of believers who are grounded in Scripture, passionate about Christ, and actively sharing His love with others. Our desire is to see families strengthened, individuals transformed, and the Gospel proclaimed through faithful living and intentional discipleship. We pray that Celebration Church becomes a beacon in Huntington, a place where people encounter Jesus, grow in spiritual maturity, and take the hope of Christ into their neighborhoods, workplaces, and homes.

Where we are headed...

Looking ahead, our heart is to continue growing deeper in discipleship and broader in impact. We want to raise up leaders, strengthen families, and equip believers to live out their faith boldly in every sphere of life. Over the coming years we plan to invest even more in teaching, community outreach, and ministries that meet real needs in Huntington. Our desire is not just to grow in size, but to grow in faithfulness, becoming a church that makes a noticeable difference in the lives of the people around us.
