Romans 8: What then shall we say to these things?
Sep 6, 2026 • Steve Wayne
Paul reaches the climax of Romans 1–8 with a staggering conclusion: “If God is for us, who can be against us?” This sermon traces the evidence of God’s favor throughout Romans, from justification and freedom from condemnation to the Spirit’s intercession, God working all things for good, and the golden chain of redemption. Because God did not spare His own Son, Christians can trust that suffering, failure, anxiety, and opposition cannot overturn His saving purpose. Our confidence is not rooted in ourselves, but in what God has accomplished for us in Christ.
