Psalm 1: Planted in the Word, Built for Fruit

Psalm 1 sets the church’s direction for 2026: grow in Christ, know Him better, and show Him through obedience and holiness. The blessed life is rooted in God’s Word, not cultural noise, shallow “Kool-Aid Christianity,” or the chase for constant spiritual feelings. Scripture is portrayed as food, fire, water, a hammer, and a sword that equips believers for every good work and helps them respond to temptation with “It is written.” The sermon challenges the church to read the Bible daily using a chronological reading plan (starting January 5) and to build homes and personal routines around Scripture as the primary source of sustenance and sanctification.
