Matthew 1: Emmanuel – Christmas Concert

This service is almost entirely a musical Christmas program, telling the story of Jesus’ birth through choir pieces, instrumental arrangements, children’s songs, and congregational singing. Between songs, brief Scripture readings and reflections highlight the heart of Christmas: Jesus is Emmanuel, “God with us,” who came with the express purpose of saving sinners. The program moves through the wonder, weight, and worship of the season, ending with candlelight and the church singing together, celebrating that God and sinners can be reconciled through Christ.
